Katie is a very smart, alert beautiful Heifer calf. She is very social with this years crop of calves and holds her own even though she is the youngest calf in the group. Her Mom Kachina is a first time Mom and very loving to her little one.

Kiwi Barbara is a gentle little girl. Very social with all of the 2018 calf crop. She will make a fine breeding cow if her mother's instincts are imprinted on this beautiful daughter. She has a full sister, Basia, one year older.

A beautiful, gentle, woolly heifer

Paige is a big strong heifer. She will have her first calf as a four year old. She is bred to our KIWI Freedom. She is very easy going and will approach for a treat and a head scratch any time she can. She is not bossy in the herd and she is not intimidated in the herd.

HSY Hortencia is a very beautiful, woolly girl. She is shy. We are excited and looking forward to her new calf arrival this spring. She is bred to HSY Buster.

We have high expectations for this girl. She will be a first time Mom in the Spring of 2022. She is a stable mate to Ruby and they complement each other and look out for each other.

Absolutely a great example of a Princess.. This girl is a very special Yak heifer calf out of one of our favorite Royal cows - KIWI Oreo. She will throw "Royal" and "Native" offspring.

I am a very woolly little girl. Priscilla is the daughter of THY Paka with bloodlines back to Chewbacca.

Melody is the daughter of KIWI MIng Ming. She is a well balanced conformation and woolly little native trim heifer. The late start in the cold snowy winter weather didn't even slow her down. She loves the weather and is supported by a very attentive Mom. She will be weaned around May 01 2023 and ready for her new home.

Zelda is a large robust cow. She has consistently calved every year in the Spring. She has produced about 50% Royals and 50% Trim. Zelda was bred at a farm in Idaho. Her Breeder is Phil Wykle. Her parents are not registered. She is the first to be registered in the BO Appendix. We have four of her calves here at Kiwidinok. They can be viewed on this site. Zoro (Sire LDR Ragnar) is a large, quiet big three year old Bull ready for work. Mr. Stubbs (Sire Bronte) is a two year old who will be a very large Bull Apollo is a one year old Royal Bull Calf Sarah is a three month old Royal calf - already with a teenager's attitude. Zelda is smart and a little timid. She has been the herd boss several times. She is very possessive and protective of her babies for the first (20) days Zelda will be in calf to Bronte during this fall 2018

Tina is a wise cow and quiet. She has had a calf each year for the past five years and has raised big imperials. Tina and Zelda are close companions. Both are big, strong cows that will produce large yak off spring. She will be mated with our Bronte this Fall.

Pepper gave birth to her first calf in 2018....a beautiful feisty little heifer. She is the grand daughter of a rare union of GHF Queen Allante and SBR Chewbaccca. She is the daughter of THY Yoda. She is a very robust, strong cow. We have great hopes for her future offspring.

Our dear Paka is the wise one. She never moves without thinking through the action. She is quiet, a little shy and avoids conflict in the herd. She loves a rub and treat. She produces high quality fibre. She produces 50% Royals and 50% Natives. Her first calf was a NWSS pen show winning heifer. MTR Tamal is her son MTR Deena is her 2014 heifer and KIWI Kachina and KIWI Annabelle are her 2016 and 2017 heifer calves. Paka is a Chewbacca daughter and a Dreadlock grand daughter.

Lucinda had her first calf in 2018. She is a doting Mother. Unfortunately her little Bull lived only a short while. As I was tending to the calf, Lucinda recognized that I was there to help and stood close by. As I knelt with her little Bull, Lucinda licked my face in cooperation. This Mom is a favorite. In the field, she will always wait in anticipation of treats and rub downs. Lucinda will be mated with Oscar this Fall.

Deena is a wonderful first time Mom in 2018. She is a little shy but always ready for a treat. As a daughter of our great Paka, she is also very woolly. She is a great grand daughter of SBR Lurch and SBR Chewbacca. Her next calf in 2019 will be an Oscar progeny. We are excited to see the new calves in 2019.

Brigitta is a wonderful Mom. She has raised a heifer calf in 2017 (Basia) and gave birth to a heifer calf (Barbara) in 2018 and a beautiful woolly heifer calf (Betsey) in 2019 She is a gentle girl and a wonderful pet. Loves treats and ear rubs. Brigitta lost part of her horn in a hydraulic squeeze chute at the ranch where she was raised. This experience has not deterred her ability to be a very loving cow. She looks for attention. She is a wonderful Mom and allows me to handle her calves immediately at birth. Brigitta will be mated with Bronte again this Fall.

Maggie is an imperial trim cow with a deep black coloring and a shining coat. She has taken to motherhood with her first calf in the Spring of 2018 - a beautiful little native trim heifer calf. She has allowed me to handle her calf without feeling threatened. Maggie is shy. She loves treats. Maggie will be mated with our bull Bronte this Fall.

Josie is an eye attraction with her beautiful coloring. She clicked into motherhood without missing a beat with her first little royal bundle of joy. She is very protective and attentive to her calf.....perhaps better than any of our other girls.

Basia is a beautiful two year old who is the spitting image of her mother, Brigitta, with a little more body size. She is very woolly.

Kachina is a beautiful, all black, woolly young yak mother. She has taken to motherhood like a duck to water. She comes with great blood lines. She will be in calf to Oscar for 2019 spring calving.

Annabelle is a delightful young cow. Her first calf is Lucky - a little Royal Very Woolly Annabelle was born on our farm in August 2017. She has an older sister Kachina. Her Mom is Paka and her Dad is Bronte. We expect great things from this little girl.

Kimimela is a girl's name originating with the American Indian Sioux . Our Kimimela is an original, single minded, very intelligent and loving heifer. She has an older half sister - Oreo. Her Mom is Chanchari and her Dad is Bronte. She will be mated with Oscar Fall 2018. She will have her first calf in 2019. We look forward to our Kimimela becoming a Mom.

Ruby loves her treats and will look for one when you approach her. Ruby is a first time Mom. She has transitioned into motherhood with an "A+" She gave birth to a beautiful, cheeky little native trim calf in September 2021 and has done a marvellous job. Both Mom and cheeky calf are doing fine. Her calf is called "Raven" and can be viewed on this website under her own name - KIWI Raven. Ruby is not bred because of the late calving. She will be put in calf in September 2022

HSY Violet is a striking, beautiful Heifer. She is growing well. Shy but friendly. She will be bred for the first time in the fall of 2022 as a two year old.

AWY Veronica is bred to AWY Norm and expecting her first calf this Spring of 2022 She is a hardy girl that has been with two other cows with calves and has triggered into motherhood, trying to surrogate mother both calves from the other Moms. She should be a fantastic Mom in her own right. AWY Veronica comes from Colorado.

Bronte (Thunder) is a halter trained, very gentle bull, who will walk to me in the field to receive his daily scratch behind the ears and a back rub down. He is gentle with his girls and produces beautiful offspring. He is a Great grandson of Queen Allante, Billy the Kid and Dreadlock. He is a Grandson of James Bond, Black Beauty and Hallebury.

Oscar ( Klondike's "Spot") has matured into a very gentle, very smart and mischievous bull. He is gentle with the girls and will have his own herd this summer/fall. We look forward to his first crop of sons and daughters. A grandson of LDR Alaska and LDR Oliver Twist. A son of LDR Klondike

Geronimo is big and powerful. He is very friendly and loves his treats and a good ear rub. He has been handled since birth. His Mom is Tina and his Dad is Bronte.

Zoro is a big, gentle bull - ready for his own herd. He has been handled since birth. His Mom is WYKE Zelda and his Dad is LDR Ragnar

Mr. Stubbs is a two year old born in 2016 to Zelda. Already he is showing massive size.

Apollo will be a big impressive Royal Bull. He exhibits all of the good Yak bull personality traits just like his Dad. He is a gentle, big hearted, fearless young bull. He waits for a rub behind is ears every time he sees me in the field. His Mom is Zelda and his Dad is Bronte. He has just turned (23) months old in June 2019

A striking, robust imperial bull calf - offspring from one of our favorite cows - Trisha Khan is a quiet, thoughtful, laid back boy. He exhibits the gentle traits that will make him a gentle boy with his ladies and calves. Ready for stud service in fall of 2021.

A beautiful, very woolly little bull calf. Frankie, his Mom, won a ribbon at the Denver Yak Show in 2015 for wool coat quality. Freedom was born on Memorial Day. He represents the spirit of this day. Freedom is an exemplary bull. He is gentle, loves a head scratch and a treat. He searches out human connection. He is attentive as a herd bull and gentle with his girls. We will have his calves on the ground for the first time in 2022. His coat has a golden sheen.

Jack is a smart, alert competitive little bull calf.....lots of personality. He is very woolly We look forward to great things for this rascal.

KIWI Zack is a big bodacious yak boy.......very intelligent and a little mischievous. He is quiet and respectful. His Daddy is Bronte. His Mom is Zelda. He will be a very successful herd bull and ready for service in the Fall of 2022

This little bull calf will be very attached to his human owner. He will be weaned in late November 2019. Lucky has a nice disposition.....always wants a hug and attention when ou enter his pasture.

Timothy is a very nice Imperial Trim adolescent Bull. He has a quiet disposition - just like his Mom. He has a nice Imperial coat and stands out with his two rear white socks contrasting with his black coat. He will make a great herd leader when he reaches maturity. He is just about two years old in the Spring of 2021 and will be mature enough to breed by fall of 2022.

HSY Buster is a bodacious boy. He is respectful and comes to the fence for a treat. He loves the squeeze chute and will enter the chute, knowing that he is about to get a good brushing, which he thoroughly enjoys. He has managed his first herd of girls during the fall of 2021. He has been a very attentive bull, but also gentle with his girls and very respectful of the calves that were in the pasture with him. We look forward to see his progeny and to see him grow into a true example of an excellent Yak Bull.

Sir Percival is a beautiful, woolly, mischievous bull calf.....plenty of spunk. He comes over for a rub down and a scratch behind the ears. He has James Bond, Dreadlock and Chewbacca in his pedigree bloodlines He will be a magnificent herd bull - carrying these bloodlines forward in the future.

Champ is a son of a great Bull, "Freedom" and an extra special Dam, "Chanchari". His Mom is herd boss cow, with a love for human interaction. He has acquired all of her special qualities. Champ is very woolly with a tinge of golden color in his coat. He will be a great companion animal and a great breed bull when he matures.

"Maddy" is a quite bull. A beautiful Imperial with impeccable bloodlines. A "moptop" Ready for work. Can be coupled with any and all KIWI bloodstock.

Kitchi is a woolly little Steer calf. A progeny of Bronte and our wonderful Kachina , with bloodlines reaching back to the Legends in the Yak history.

Zeke will be a great pet quality animal, capable of packing and a wonderful companion animal.

KIWI Godfrey is a friendly, mischievous, intelligent bundle of fun. As a bottlefed educated animal, he follows me around and comes to me when I call him. Just a joy and a blessing wrapped up in a bundle of deep woolly coat.

Attila is a big gentle bull calf. The pictures show him as a (15) month old and a (20) month old. He has a woolly coat like his Dad Bronte and his Dad's gentle, fearless personality. He has a brother, Geronimo, also presented in this site. His Mother is Tina. He will make a wonderful herd bull.

Horatio is a young bull calf that stands out among his group for size, structure, attitude and intelligence. He has white rear hocks and a white flag on his tail Quiet, confident and fearless - like his Papa. He is the son of Bronte and Oreo. (Oreo is a beautiful Royal) Watch him grow up as we add photos. He will be weened and available by December 31 2018.

KIWI Lancelot is the best Bull Calf from the 2020 crop. He is magnificent. Big and strong and woolly. He has very strong bloodlines through his sire Bronte back to Billy the Kid and Jame Bond. He has equally strong bloodlines through his Mom, Pepper, with Queen Allante and Chewbacca. This boy will grow to be King......and he knows it !!

Charlie is the son of ChanChari, our herd boss cow. She is a very tough girl with her girls and keeps them in line. At the same time she is the most human friendly cow in the herd. She is a superlative mother and has raised this little bull calf to be a leader in the future. He has so much potential. He succeeds in a legendary bloodline of well known Yak. Charlie can be one of the "greats".

Pete is the son of Paka and progeny of the great Chewbacca, Dreadlock and Bill the Bull. His sire is our great herd bull Bronte. Pete has his father's soft nature and is a gentle young rascal. He has a promonent white tip on his tail, which stands out when he runs in the field with his tail up.

Freddie has an exceptionally woolly coat. His Mom, Frankie, won a third place ribbon for her coat at the 2015 Denver Yak show. Freddie has Mom's pedigree, improved with MTR Bronte's genes. He is a nicely balanced calf. Would make a great bull or steer.

2021 Calf, Weaned in December 2021. Quiet nature, friendly. Will make an exceptional breeding bull.

Kiwi Bruce was weaned in December. He always comes up to the hay feeder for a head scratch and a treat. Very friendly, Great coat -very woolly
